FEATURES - We have recently started to add lists of a choice of Notable Features for each church.
They include general Architectural Features, as well as specific items: Brasses, Fonts, Hatchments, Monuments, Pulpits, Reredos, Royal Arms, Screens, Wall Paintings.
They are listed (in chronological order) on each church page, together with the names of people that items were dedicated to, and the craftsmen involved with their construction.
There is also a Features Tab which leads to Indexes of each type of Feature.
The various lists of features will gradually include small images, which can each be expanded.
The first of these to be fully working is an Index of Aylesbury Fonts showing the 18 "Aylesbury Style" fonts in Buckinghamshire.
