On the left, above St Frideside, are the Arms of Missenden Abbey. In the centre are the arms of St John's College Oxford, patrons of the parish since 1661. On the right are the arms of the Hibbert Family of Chalfont Park who were benefactors of the parish.

St Frideswide holds her staff as Abbess who became the Patron Saint of Oxford University. - St John the Evangelist holds a quill and a scroll showing the first line of his Gospel. - St Zita, the Patron Saint of Domestic Servants, holds her symbol of a basket.
