Dedicated to:	Richard Hooker MA More... Richard Hooker was appointed Rector of Drayton Beauchamp in 1584. However in 1585 Queen Elizabeth 1st appointed him Master of the Temple, a Royal Peculiar church in the City of London. He became one of the most important theologians of the 16th century, best known for his 8 volume work "Of the Lawes of Ecclesiastical Politie".
